The report button is always a click away my friend!

Well I would, as well as the other comments you've posted in this thread. Let's take a 3 day break to cool down, be excellent to eachother, differing views on AI isn't a reason to be shitty to others.

Trying to belittle or offend others is against rule 3, it is not being excellent to eachother. Let's do better my friend.

I don't have an answer, but congrats on being one of the few to break that friendship zone barrier

Right, I haven't seen any of them say they are doing away with SMS. Even Android who has RCS in place also has SMS along side it, RCS is just an enhancement.

Even with RCS on both major platforms in the near future, a lot of automations and companies will continue to utilize SMS, and I'd bet that's true for a long time.

  1. Most Android phones use RCS, so it's on-subject here since most of us don't pay attention to iPhone news - and is welcomed news because of #2's answer

  2. You ever been in a low or no signal area, but have wifi, and try to text an iPhone user? Ever try to send/receive photos/videos with an iPhone and they look like garbage? Tired of getting SMS's in group chats of "Mom loved 'Please poop in the toilet next time, we are tired of cleaning it up'" instead of it just "hearting" the SMS message? A lot of new tech coming out today started from something that "was good" and was built on to make it better.

Too many politically charged comments, locking. We are a technology community, if you want to talk politics please do so in the appropriate community.

You and I both know it was not your first offense, you're entitled to your opinion on the rest, but we don't play with rule 3 - especially when it is blatantly ignored.

Also if you'd like to get an alert for why your comment was removed or why you were banned, I'd recommend making a feature request to the Lemmy devs, I agree it'd be nice to get alerted when you did something against the rules and what rule, we post that in the mod log but it unfortunately doesn't tell the user without them digging into modlogs.

Have a good day!

Yes, we remove rule breaking comments/posts, that's what moderators do.

You've had multiple rule breaking comments, especially last month.

Also, the modlog for every community is and has been public.

Please report if they respond with their alt, they reported all of your non-rule breaking comments again - gave a temp 3 day ban for breaking rule 3 multiple times.

Thanks

Too many rule 3 breaking comments, locking this post. Let's be excellent to eachother please!

Greetings everyone,

We wanted to take a moment and let everyone know about the [email protected] community on Lemmy.World which hasn't gained much traction. Additionally, we've noticed occasional complaints about Business-related news being posted in the Technology community. To address this, we want to encourage our community members to engage with the Business community.

While we'll still permit Technology-related business news here, unless it becomes overly repetitive, we kindly ask that you consider cross-posting such content to the Business community. This will help foster a more focused discussion environment in both communities.

We've interacted with the mod team of the Business community, and they seem like a dedicated and welcoming group, much like the rest of us here on Lemmy. If you're interested, we encourage you to check out their community and show them some support!

Let's continue to build a thriving and inclusive ecosystem across all our communities on Lemmy.World!

Seems that a lot of us have some funny Unity memes, which have been getting removed due to Rule 7.

Making this post and pinning it for everyone to share their Unity memes about this whole fiasco, please only comment the memes here, if you make a post with one it will be removed.

Hey everybody, feel free to post any tech support or general tech discussion questions you have right here.

As always, be excellent to each other.

Yours truly, moderators.
