Downvotes for reddit dribble, but now that the cost of photography has gone down, I am in favor of more pictures explaining what things aren't. David Bowie didn't have heterochromia. He had a permanently dilated pupil due to an injury.
He might have had heterochromia due to an injury rather than congenially, but heterochromia is what irises of more than one color is called regardless of the reason. It's not a specific condition.
Hence hazel eyes and having one blue and one brown eye both being heterochromia.

Left is brown and right is blue, but oddly I have parts in both eyes that have a bit of the opposite color (i.e. the top of my brown eye has some blue). It's weird.
EDIT: Oops I didn't answer which is my favorite. My right / blue eye because it looks like the sun reflecting in water.
