I have had Christians tell me he was the first Christian. Which I guess means he worshiped himself?
Christians are clueless when it comes to Christianity. Those who have read and thought about the bible are most likely atheists.
In the 70s and 80s, having a neopagan faith was grounds enough to have your kids yanked from you and put into the foster system. Similarly if you have BDSM tackle and / or dress, even if it never came out when the kids were about.
They dont just want to take us back to the days when everyone had to hide in their closet, but they're deternined to pack everyone into closets, including their own that have kinks, disabilities, family with shameful pasts or whatever.
Project 2025 is not a rational model for society, which is why it will need fascist features including enemy-within rhetoric and eventually a war effort.
So it's super important we don't have another Black Swan election like 2016. Also I hope DHS is actually prepared for violent coup d'etat and civil war, should the GOP lose the election and procedural coup d'etat shenanigans fail.

This is about private agencies? Foster parent here, yeah the system is fucked up and there's tons of agencies with their own rules even in liberal Washington state. Each agency has its own agenda on who they'll license, what they support for the child's case (adoption, reunification, guardianship), age ranges, orientations, all sorts of things.
I've gone through agencies and through the state directly. I wouldn't recommend an agency as it basically doubles the amount of meetings and training you're required to do.
Honestly, the way Foster parents are treated as Air B&B's and with zero rights, I don't recommend anyone become a foster parent. Let the system burn so it might be rebuilt.
You're going to throw a lot of babies out with that bathwater. I'm sure there's a better way.

I'd bet that the outcome of all this will be that Tennessee just stops providing funding to any adoption services.
Because if they're not allowed to hurt only the people they want to hurt, they'll hurt everyone to reach that goal.
