The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

YSKs are about self-improvement on how to do things.
Rule 2- No illegal or NSFW or gore content.
**No illegal or NSFW or gore content. **
Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.
Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.
Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Posts and comments which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.
Rule 6- Regarding META posts.
Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-Reddit posts using the [META] tag on your post title.
Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.
If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.
Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.
Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.
Let everyone have their own content.
:::spoiler Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here.
Didnt they kill awards like a year ago?
just use fatbird, i think it still works.
People use the Reddit app?
Right? Like wtf? Thats the whole reason I stopped going to reddit.
I call it North Korean syndrome. (They don't know any better.)
What's the other choice these days?
Edit: Did some research, sounds like a few apps got API exceptions because they are consider accessibility apps. Am currently test driving RedReader. It's not bad and so far ad free.
If you really must then firefox mobile with adblocking
Browsing the Reddit website completely anonymously
There's always web, viewed via the old domain. I view most apps as websites with user agency removed.
I hear Lemmy is pretty good
Not visiting reddit.
Unfortunately there are some communities (especially gaming ones) that just don't have a Lemmy equivently or don't have enough critical mass to be useful. I would say Lemmy is a great addition, but not a drop in replacement.

Happy cake day
As soon as there’s an NFL and CFB equivalent on Lemmy I will have zero use for Reddit, I still check those for news and during the season but deleted my account last June
People use reddit?
People use?
People?
CONGRATULATIONS {player1}, YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE QUEST.
There's also no longer any button on the mobile web client. Your options are to upvote, downvote, or click on the three dots to expand every other option, including reply, all at once.
You don't need to reply anymore, the bots do that for you.
Just relax and enjoy the ~~ads~~ content.
Please drink a verification can to reveal the reply button.
Not even a little bit surprised.
Idk if I'd consider that nefarious moreso than just "we added a button and want to keep reply right of the options dropdown".
The addition of the awards button so prominently is easily deemed shitty tho lol
Muscle memory. It’s literally in the exact spot reply used to be, and they made reply smaller so it’s harder to press.
Was the reply button the biggest previously? I never installed the official app so I don't know how it was previously set up
Yes, and it was last on the right.
The idea of the first three being too simple to be worth playing is dumb. Its like saying Super Mario Bros isnt worth your time because its old. They're still fantastic stories and the second game has some really cool mechanics you don't really see anymore.
I know this thread is about the ui though, its why I had to turn off the floating button on the Sync app.
Lol that was my comment. The post was about which game in a series you would pick if you could only ever play that one game. I excluded the first three based on story, not gameplay.
Ahh in the context of the only one you'd get to play its a reasonable opinion.
Sad Pattern? This seems less dark and more pathetic...
