Pretty lame, basically just giving lifetime achievement awards to a bunch of beloved elderly actors rather than basing the awards on the shows and performances in question.
I gave up on picard after one and a half seasons

That's a half season longer than I gave it.
Well you didn't watch season 3, which is the season that actually won these awards.
I watched all 3 seasons. Season 3 should be recognized for its special effects and acting - the new characters and classic ones both perform well. Too bad it was in service to such an unneeded story.
How is it possible that Picard got more? What are they watching?
I imagine at least part of it is that it’s seen as likely going to be the last opportunity to give the actors, especially Patrick Stewart, these awards.
It's about the basics. More Borg, more awards.
While assimilation is commonly used to crush helpless worlds, just a few nanites can also be used to swing key votes.
Perfect example of why awards are useless.
Paul Wesley is the best Kirk fight me
I'm find Paul Wesley strangely unlikable. He looks kinda weird. His movements are odd. Nothing is wrong with him, he just makes me uncomfortable. Would you please share what you like about him? I'd like to get over this weird feeling.
