TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

JANEWAY WAS RIGHT
They should have cloned him so they could have had Tuvok, Neelix, and Tuvix.
Then when another accident happens it Tutuvixix
Tutuvixix is just Tuvix in a ballerina costume
Hey! I just got here!
Shocked Pikuvix!
tuvix was just a late term abortion
Fair, but I also don't give a shit about Tuvok or Neelix.
tbh I liked Tuvix a lot more than either of the sources.
There have been a number of ST episodes that made me ugly cry. That one Neelix episode was one of them. I felt we could have gone deeper with Tuvok so that we as an audience would have given more of a shit about him.
Mortal Coil? Joking aside, Neelix became a lot more tolerable to me after Kes left the show so half his deal stopped being what a controlling creep he was with her. I'll admit he had some good episodes and solid character development over time.
I do have to agree there. Neelix + Kes was creepy. Not just because of his jealousy, but also the fact she was like, 3, and he acted not just like a jealous boyfriend, but also like a father figure. shudders Ugh!
It's a complete mess -
- "So, he's - really into this three year old..."
- "Oh no!"
- "No, it's not like that! Her people age rapidly, so she's actually fully mature."
- "Huh. Well, I guess maybe..."
- "Yeah, but he does totally act like her father, anyway. A super jealous insecure father."
- "Does her family have something to say about this?"
- "Oh, they leave behind her entire race and everything she knows in the first episode. But he proooobably didn't pressure her into it?"
- "Probably??"
- "They decide it offscreen. Anyway, he's the ship's lovable goofball!"
That would be the one!
JANEWAY DID NOTHING WRONG!
Tuvix is proof that if you combine two great characters you don't get a better character but a worse one.
You probably think they'd be better with two heads on one body, eh Zaphod?
I always say two heads is better than one.
you're no hoopy frood. I bet you don't even know where your towel is.
Uh, yes I know where it is, it's just... wait where did it go?
