If you are near Pittsburgh my girlfriend and I will help. We go to the range and only places that are friendly.

Look for local LGBT+ friendly gun ranges. Some of them offer classes geared specifically to that audience (probably the same material as any other course, just without the usual 'gun nut' crowd).

...speaking of, I need to follow up with the one in my area - I've been trying get some hours in as a volunteer, but they never replied to my email. Thanks for the reminder!!

~~This is DAMAG3! Here’s her most popular song, and my favorite. It’s got several jokes in it, but still has a semi-serious tone. https://youtu.be/egB7_7xB9NI~~

~~She’s an amazing artist from the South that moved to LA (thankfully). I saw her in Seattle a year ago, and we burned Harry Potter books in the parking lot afterwards. Go listen to her music and support queer artists escaping the South!~~

~~I also just found out that she’s on tour in August! Go see her!! https://www.songkick.com/artists/10318338-damag3~~

Edit: this is not DAMAG3. It clearly says “Eve Weston” and I can’t read. XD

We could use more women like her. CCW is important too.

The key to a democratic super majority? Dropping the gun ban rhetoric. Embracing the 2nd. Worrying about sensible laws around it once they have full control.

I have a hard time believing this is a key obstacle. I think it seems like this is the problem, but that simply embracing progressive policies is good enough. It certainly doesn’t help, I’ll agree with that—but look at a place like Australia. After Port Arthur? Done and dusted.

I'm hoping that the Trump administration can convince liberals that the second amendment is not their enemy, but it's important to remember that every time we get any expansion of gun control it is because Republicans did it.

Republicans will only expand gun control when the 'undesirables' start arming themselves.

It sounds counterintuitive but The most effective path to real gun control is to encourage minorities to exercise their second amendment.

For those who would prefer not to click on a YouTube link, check out the documentary "Arming the Left".

You actually see this, minus the sexy squat, when people are carrying their rifle for a while. Its not a good tactical hold but it does distribute the weight and keep it off the strap.

Yeah if you watch any US police stuff or protests on youtube, you will see cops standing around with that arm pose all the time.
