I don't get it or the 
moment some Chinese players are having.
Something losing rather than gaining in a defense mission lost in translation somewhere. It was just really strange and poorly communicated as to what their gripe really was. Some reviews copy pasting some almost 100% nunber. Just genuinely baffled what their beef is.
I always wanted to play this game but haven't got anything that'll play it, so usually I avoid the ongoing meta-fun, but this one has bled into my algorithm elsewhere, and for once I love to see it.
Pleasantly surprised how positive 
is about all the Chinese players. Maybe China actually is starting to win the social media PR war

They are winning when it comes to business relations, cultural exchanges, and general diplomacy, but Western are a whole different ballpark.
That social sphere is completely dominated by socially isolated Chuds who get most of their info from far-right echo chambers online or their already reactionary (usually rich) families. A quick look at HD2 Steam forums and you have all the usual "ebil CCP brainwashed bots!!!" spam.
That's turning pretty fucking quick right now since some Chinese players gave the game bad reviews on Steam
Looks like the Chinese version mistranslated some words and made them think they could liberate Equality-On-Sea when it's literally a hold-the-line scenario

I've been teaching as many players as I can the proper anti-Illuminate tactics these last two weeks
Too many lives have been lost trying to kill fleshmobs with termite grenades and 500kg bombs when an autocannon with flak rounds kills them and overseers with ~3 shots
Also very prevalent is not understanding how their ablative armor works. You don't need to punch through it, you need to just keep shooting
High DPS, storms of bullets, incendiary weapons
Only thing you need high AP for is Leviathans and even then, if you utilize cover properly they can't touch you and you can usually just run away from them
