reboots rarely work out, especially done so "soon" after a series ended. reiminagied series can be good though, like with BSG, but still fall shorts on many things, due to showrunners personal agenda.

Yep I just can't see this working
especially with the executives or another showrunner trying to push a agenda based on current issues, it almost always ruin the show.
Then Zach should play Bob Kelso in the reboot.
Guess he and his Scrubs buddies got tired of doing T-Mobile commercials.
I don't think ending each episode with a monologue over an indie song will work today

Scrubs but in the setting of The Pitt
I’ve never watched scrubs but if they rebooted the show with the same cast and characters but it was super serious and dramatic, I would definitely watch the original series and then the new one to compare because it would be so totally unique
The original series is well worth watching today, as someone who just watched it for the first time a few years ago.
All 8 seasons are great
I liked the spin-off but it felt like they never really gave it a chance to be its own show for some reason.
I hope he comes back as JD, but now he's older and wiser and just as jaded as Dr. Cox, basically fulfilling the same role Cox did.
I want him to play JD playing Dr. Cox
And cox pops in once in a while eating muffins?

Should be fun. Lean into the difference in experience as a mature professional. Get some perspective on why Dr. Cox is Like That.
Half this show was about gay, dick, and fart jokes. Will be an interesting reboot.
Not everything was like that. In fact, the first season had almost none of that stuff, arguably my favorite season before they started making sillier and sillier jokes.

I think I will reserve judgement until I see it. A getting-the-gang-back-together series or two could be a good time, or it could be another "Scrubs: Med School".
When has one of these reboots worked?
Futurama reboot(s) are good. Not quite up to original run but good.
Trailer park boys had a decent season or two with Netflix
The Connors has been successful.
I don't know about others, but I kinda liked Picard. It was clear it was just an excuse to get the old gang back together, but it was enjoyable to watch.
I'm not sure how enjoyable it would have been to someone unfamiliar with TNG, but I enjoyed it.
picard was terriblely written series, the "nostalgia" gimmick was just to save the dying show.STD and snw wernt that great, and snw ranked about the other 2 series. however, LOWER DECKS AND PRODIGY were much better series than the other 2.
kurtzman being involved dint help anything either.
Honestly I did get giddy setting the TNG crew back together in season 3 of Picard. I could leave the rest
Now that you mention it, it probably could have done without season 2.
