I like this one - Israetel isn't always my favorite, but he does strike me as extremely knowledgeable and with a sincere commitment to avoid the flood of pseudoscience that is the plague of the industry.

Be aware - this link isn't just the form cues, but if you follow each muscle group link, within each sub-article is a table with links to zero-fluff 30 second YouTube videos demonstrating form for a huge number of exercises. Cool shit.

I agree with you about Dr. Mike, he's great but I think switching to full-time YouTube and content creation has lead to him putting out more filler and click bait and shilling. His app looks cool but pretty overpriced imo

Yeah, I don't begrudge him for it really, he's just playing the game, same as anyone else who tries to make money from YouTube. Can't really be done in a way that isn't obnoxious. And to be honest, I may never have realized the wealth of knowledge he has and shares, without his YouTube presence, so I mean. I'm part of the problem lol.

And yeah, $25/month is just way too much for an app for me, I can repeatedly injure myself for free, thank you very much. All jokes aside though I'd imagine it's pretty quality, he seems like a serious dude.

100% the amount of knowledge available to us now compared to even a decade ago is unbelievable, props to the lifting science bros. I wish this was around when I was younger hah

It's sweet if you already have your program sorted out. It's not a big program library like boostcamp but It doesn't keep everything locked behind a paywall. I think I paid a few bucks for the premium version and really like the analytics and there's even a social aspect if you like following other people

Previously, I've just done a web image search to find a diagram of the motion, and then practice that enough times to commit it to memory. But for introducing new exercises, that's a nice resource there, all in one place.

For form checks, I set up a tripod and have my phone record the motion, then pass the video to my weightlifting friends for their opinions. I'm aware that doing this in a commercial gym might look like I'm filming an Instagram video, but: 1) gainz come first, and 2) homegym lol
