served through donvict's entire first term without him even giving a mean look in her direction.

He kept Dr. Fauci for the entire term, then turned on him.

He only hires the best people, then claims they were idiots form the start.

This is already bad because it's a Library and these people hate those things, but also...

It also administers copyright law through the United States Copyright Office.

“It’s time to get her OUT and hire a new guy for the job!”

Even republicans would find this obvious, if they could read.

Right. Because the librarian is such an obvious threat to his authority?

The Librarian of Congress also appoints and oversees the Register of Copyrights of the U.S. Copyright Office and has broad responsibilities around copyright, extending to electronic resources and fair use provisions outlined in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The librarian determines whether particular works are subject to DMCA prohibitions regarding technological access protection.

A puppet in charge of copyright and DMCA, combined with the Take it Down act, etc. are just steps on the path of ultimate censorship and government control of published content.

Now that IS interesting TIL

I guess the real question is, do they replace her with someone who's going to go rabbid on DMCA, or they just going to fill the position with an idiot that neuters it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 hours ago

No. An aide (or an ai) reads his Twitter posts to him.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

That's assuming he doesn't have a blonde from Fox reading it to him

[–] [email protected] 4 points 13 hours ago
