Empty bicycle
Ahh yes, it's very normal for Chinese to abandon their bicycle on Tian An Men Square in1989. In fact, i know someone that abandon 3 of it for luck!
They spend loads of time labelling people with "taking cover" without ever considering that people take cover when they are being fired on.
"Taking cover from what?" has that wonderful "States rights to do what?" energy.
"See, they weren't massacred! Look at this snapshot long before the end of the event where many people are alive, taking cover from a hail of bullets, and successfully hiding for their lives! Checkmate, libs!"

The bicycles are another thing they're ignoring. If someone wanted to leave the area, why wouldn't they go on their bicycle? It would be faster. Those people didn't want to be in the road, and they wanted to get out of the road in enough of a hurry that they didn't wheel their bicycles to the side.
Very curious to see how they react to this point you made.
This is one of those things that is an incredible tragedy that is terrible in so many ways but is somehow a meme.

But that's not possible because my reeducation camp told me that it never happened.
I'm a socialist and I think the CCP is evil and only pretend to care about their people. I also don't believe that centralization of power is ever a good idea. I just don't get tankie idiology.
This. The more power is concentrated the more heinous the actions typically become. A warlord slaughtering families or a village is a tragedy. A despot committing genocide is a Tuesday.
Some of them were.
There was a credible BBC eyewitness that said a tank fired its main cannon into an ambulance trying to rescue the dead. There was little in the way of mercy on that day. They were literally washing gore into the gutters afterwards.

Everyone reading this needs to understand, when a modern-day tankie describes someone as a 'liberal', a term which they use pejoratively, it carries the same meaning as "bourgeouis liberalism" in this quote:

These tankies would applaud the same kind of treatment for 'liberals' today as was given to the protesters in Tienanmen Square by the CCP in 1989.

As if this wasn’t atrocious enough, the government’s criminal and brutal activity that day got even worse. With no regard for the families of these victims, not to mention their identities, what was left of them was disposed of — in an unspeakably callous manner.

These protesters were mostly college students and teachers who had the gall to object to the CCP's authoritarianism.
Let them not be forgotten.

They defend the events at Tiananmin Square because it's exactly what they want: the mass murder of people who disagree with them. "Denialism" is just a strategy to maintain the guise of moral superiority.
