Donald Trump posted a laundry list of reasons why he believes that he should get a Nobel Peace Prize.

In a Truth Social post, the president celebrated that he was “very happy” to report on a series of deals and agreements to end global conflicts that he “won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for.” The post came on the heels of Pakistan’s announcement that they plan to nominate him for the 2026 award, _The Hill _reported.

Who knew Pakistanis were such pranksters?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago

This is a prank article, right?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 days ago

Where is the list of reasons he deserves kicks in the ass?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 days ago

Krasnov should receive the "Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle the First-Called," Russia's highest civilian medal.

The daily beast doesn't care about us.

Sounds like one of his typical meltdowns.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 5 days ago

"Epic meltdown" = fifth unhinged rant in the last 24 hours

[–] [email protected] 38 points 5 days ago

“Epic meltdown” is such a stupid way to describe this.

Obama lives rent free in his head.

A black man better than ME in every way, shape, and form! I must punish America and the world for this infraction!” - Trump probably

[–] [email protected] 12 points 5 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Obama wasn't as funny in that 'always sunny in philadelphia' kinda way. Maybe just as funny over all, even if we mostly laugh at trump. So trump has that.

I don't think Obama is as good as sleaze. He might be; Chicago has some pretty good sleaze, but I think trump is genuinely a world historic talent.

And, um... Clogging toilets (with stolen documents)? Obama to my knowledge isn't better at that than anyone else. Seems pretty regular. His wife probably makes him eat real food.

Give me noble prize now ✌️

Looks like he's going to lick his eye holes like a lizard or frog.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 5 days ago

Right before igniting chaos across the middle east‽

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Did he actually do anything with India/Pakistan?

[–] [email protected] 16 points 5 days ago

No lol. India basically told him to fuck off.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I'm not creating an account for that website. Does he actually list the reasons, or is there nothing more than claims of a 'series of deals'? That isn't a compelling argument.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 5 days ago (3 children)

I didn't want to either, so here is a link to the full article: http://archive.today/2025.06.21-220113/https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-lists-reasons-he-deserves-nobel-prize-in-epic-meltdown/

And here is the part you ask about:

“I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between India and Pakistan, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (A massive Ethiopian built dam, stupidly financed by the United States of America, substantially reduces the water flowing into The Nile River),” Trump wrote on Friday. “And I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for doing the Abraham Accords in the Middle East which, if all goes well, will be loaded to the brim with additional Countries signing on, and will unify the Middle East for the first time in ‘The Ages!’”

He added, “No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!

If they actually give him a nobel peace price I don't think I'll be able to comprehend that. My brain will have an error for as long as I live probably.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 days ago

but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!

Yeah, sure.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I'd just assume the prize was meaningless after that.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 days ago

Totally, but would if have been meaningful before? It might genuinely make me believe a lizard class of baby blood drinkers rule the world or something like that

[–] [email protected] 5 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

Thanks. I look forward to the fact checking on all of that from someone better informed than I. I had a quick look, and his sole contribution to the Abraham Accords seems to be selling warplanes to the Saudis, and the Ethiopian thing seems to have fallen apart, so I remain sceptical about his contributions to world peace. Everything else we've seen from the man suggests he's anything but a peacemaker.

He lives in a fantasy world I think
