I did similar once, but I just spelled out my town, not quite on this level.

I wonder how he gets all the diagonals, because it doesn't look like they align with streets. Cycling his GPS on/off? (no pun intended)
Most of them look like they align with streets to me, but I was curious about some of the ones that didn't, so I checked on a map. Some of the sus points seem to be in/around parks, parking lots or in paths that don't show up unless you zoom quite far in.
That's my guess: stop, GPS off, next point, GPS on, GPS off, next point.
Even with the points of the teeth to plot he’d have to be offroad or on private property to set the pointd.
