The dead plant is a nice touch.
It's plastic. Available from Ickea for 5.99 and called Schlorpobrotto.
I can't find that, and I'm unsure why anybody would want a dead plastic plant.

Just jealous because I didn't need $40k to furnish my home.
Amateur hour! The cinder blocks are all aligned and could more easily tip over; stagger those joints! The top will scratch your phone; put a piece of wood, cardboard, or an old shirt on top to protect it. Also, throw away that phone box, that shit ain't collectable.
Maybe I'll need that phone box in the future
I will admit that I store old phones in the original box.
Same with some old computer parts.
I used to do that.
Now I use a box cutter and cut out any bar codes or serial numbers off most of the boxes and put them in the motherboard box with the rest of manuals and accessories. It was hard at first but it's been good.

Hey, that overhead light is really bright at 3am.
Furniture maker here: Would a night stand with open cubbies on the front like that be popular? That would be fairly easy to build out of wood.
That, but hinged in the middle so you can crack it open and access the inner cubbies
So you want the whole front half of the cabinet to swing open like a door? Thinking back to a VHS caddy my parents had, the problem there is sag.

It's basically the cinder-version of an Ikea Kallax shelf, which also allows per-cubby accessories like baskets, doors, and subdividers.
I used to have exactly that as my nightstands, with a basket on the bottom to hide stuff and the other cubby was just open.

Sure, half the stuff in Ikea is empty frames which you can put drawers and doors on. Which is entirely optional, half our house is just empty frames.

Drawers tend to become a void of lost things, something with many small open shelves would keep things in a "organized chaos".
You also make a lot of noise when you search trough drawers.

To try and disguise how hard and sharp those corners are. Looks knee high, I predict skin loss.
Not just disguise, but actually soften. You could place your phone down on it without scratching the absolute shit out of it.
