I'd take his million dollars and tell him I'll vote for whoever he asks for
Then go vote for the other side.

Same!
Is this the same scam as last time, where these “winners” were actually paid spokespeople?
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/musks-pac-claims-1-million-winners-not-chosen-by-chance
Wow! It would be REALLY REALLY Difficult for Him to END World Hunger when he's SO STINGEY with his Money!
Did anything really happen after he tried this last time in Pennsylvania pre-election?
I'm hoping that enough people see through the insanity and don't bite on the propaganda, the $100 if you vote for schimel, etc. I'm cautiously hopeful after the PA race where a trump +15 district flipped blue that there's enough momentum to flip this the right way
I'm listening to the Brewers game on Sirius, and a trump ad came on for the Wisconsin Supreme Court race and it was all about "We must try to preserve the good things that trump has done for us!"
Me like: what the fuck you smoking? Everything is fucked beyond belief! People are being disappeared, fucking Measles is back, and they are threatening our Canadian neighbors! WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT THAT SHIT?!?
THIS IS FUCKING ASININE. FUCIEN BRIBERY IN THE OPEN SEND THIS FUCKER TO PRISON. IM SO SICK OF RICH PEOPLE CONTROLLING THE WORLD AND OUR LIVES WITH MONEY.
Prisons aren’t viewed as a REAL possible punishment to those types - they can get pardons at the drop of a hat.
Consequences for those types must be irrevocable, and once that happens several times the others will fall in line.
The law ain’t shit. It’s up to the people to impose justice.
I'm sure this is rigged. I doubt this asshole would just give anyone free money.
This was basically the case in the "sweepstakes" he did leading up the presidential election. They admitted in court that the winners were predetermined and that nobody actually had a chance to win, so it wasn't buying votes.
But no charges for having a "rigged contest"? Or was it in the fine print and anybody that participated and was plainly told otherwise is SOL for not being a lawyer and reading what they signed?
How is this fucking legal? Pretty sure buying votes is illegal.
It is illegal but Bidens DOJ set the precedent that musk would go unpunished in the 2024 election.
Because there are neither consequences from the laws nor Luigi’s compelling him to stop.
Until someone forces that reckoning he’ll keep on destroying us all.
You can't pay someone to vote a certain way, but what if you pay people who love {[interest that correlates strongly with republican support]} to vote.
You don't pay people to vote a particular way, which would be illegal, but you get the result you want regardless.
So is:
Etc.
A law that is not enforced is not a law.
That said: This was discussed the last time he claimed to be doing this. There are theoretically loopholes that boil down to "Say you support X and I'll give you money. This is not legally binding as a vote" which likely would not hold up to a just court but...
It's not. Just a question of whether that matters anymore.
It doesn't.
I bet you it does matter. If I gave you $1 to vote for the opposing party candidate, I bet you I would get arrested. The difference is I'm not rich, so laws apply to me.
