- I don't know why, I've just been using them my whole life, and they're comfortable for me. The platonic ideal of Pen. Especially the blue medium.
1 is already very similar to my pen of choice, and 2 used to be my pen of choice. So depending on how they feel, one of them.
Anyone saying anything but #7 is delulu. There's a reason Bic won pens

Probably would stick with my Pilot S95 Elite, or if I wanted something a little less flashy, my Lamy Vista.

The Japanese uni-ball pens are sweet, ~~don't think they are on this~~ Nvm it's #1 or close enough
Pretty sure both 1 and 2 are jp and good
I was using whatever pens I could get before I found the JP pens. Now when I see one, I have to get it. The writing feels as though it glides like a brush over the paper.
Besides that, not sure why people say they explode on them, mine are indestructable. I write and draw with a very heavy hand and they stay rock solid. Pretty good pick for heavy handed people.
#5 carried me through three degrees.

If I HAVE to use a ballpoint, it's going to have to be a rollerball. Like the Uniball. But really, I'd take just about any fountain pen over any of them.

Thanks, I think it's one of my best looking pens. The VP isn't a VP, it's a MoonMan A1. I'm not sure if it's made by Majohn or not, but it is super similar to their A1 and A2 if it's not. Writes well, good seal. For under $30. Highly recommend.
cant go wrong with the BIC pen. #1 is not as good but very satisfying to use, strong contender.

Pilot g2 is the way to go
Was a committed G2 guy for YEARS (ultra fine all the way). But I’m a lefty, so ink smears were still a problem (though the G2 is better than most on that front). Then I learned about the Sarasa Dry pens from Zebra. The ink dries INSTANTLY, and writes like a G2. But they’re hard to find so I always stock up when I see them.
They call it the "Precise V7", but the ink makes it anything but. I think make it out of ground-up neutron stars.
But that's why I like them. The writing's no good if it doesn't bleed a little.
I dont see any on here I would swear by.
I have taken a liking to the Pilot B2Ps, they are made of recycled water bottles, I liked them simply for the fact that they're the one type of pen we have in abundance at the office that no one else bothers to steal for some reason.
I like the Staples TRU RED series too.
what the hell is wrong with me, a year ago I'd be obsessing over some video game or hobby and now im discussing my pen model preferences, I think I've crossed the proto-boomer threshold

Uni Mitsubishi .38 I want it too feel like I'm stabbing the paper when I write
Does it also come in 9mm? I feel like .38 is a bit underpowered.
5 has the ink i use, the g2 whatever. But I use it in the fat Dr. Grip pen, cause of my old hands.
Where the fuck are the Zebra pens
Paper mate inkjoy’s have been my go to after g2’s and sharpies had defective ones in the packs I bought.
