Luckily for Zuckerberg, then, Meta isn't unfairly punished. It's going to be punished quite fairly.
Meta just asking to be fined in the EU.
Meta is the Karen of tech companies.
That's literally a threat to their sovereignty.
They should say "fuck that", block Meta, and seize all his European assets until he falls in line.
The EU is way too liberal to seize his assets. This will never happen. They'll gladly bow down to the US hegemony and the US fascist regime before they lift a finger. We'll just hear a bunch of strong words of condemnation (if we even hear anything at all lol) and that's about it.

Time for anyone who doesn't live within the USA to dump all USA tech. No need to "go after" governments, if the people in those countries simply do not use any USA companies. We do not need META (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp), Musk (SpaceX, Twitter, Neuralink, SolarCity, Tesla), Bezos (Amazon, Whole Foods, Washington Post, Audible, IMDb, MGM,Twitch, Ring, Alexa), etc.

Pushing an open-source alternative like Friendica would be ideal but either way the globally anti-competitive nature of giant social corporations has gone on too long; a breaking point for innovation is overdue.
Given that the EU has accounts on Mastodon, why not check all the list and make every government in the EU have their own AP servers? Not only Mastodon but Lemmy, Pixelfed, Peertube, ...
