  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

“There’ll be people that they’ll DM me like, ‘You see what your boy’s doing? You voted for this.’ I’m like, ‘I voted for none of this,’” he said. “He’s doing the exact opposite of everything I voted for. I want him to stop the wars—he’s funding them. I want him to shrink spending, reduce the budget—he’s increasing it.”

No, buddy. You DID vote for this. You absolutely voted for ALL of this because everything Trump is doing now, he promised, and campaigned on. And you yourself noted he's a Lying Liar that Lies. So you absofuckinglutely voted for all of what's going on right now.

“When you feel like the status quo will do nothing and change nothing, you have way more of a longer leash for the outsiders’ ideas than you do the status quo’s ideas,” he said. “And I think that was the idea with Trump, who’s like, ‘Maybe he will stop these wars.’ No. ‘Maybe we will see what’s up with this Epstein s–t.’ No.”

Take it from somebody who grew up as the Shitgibbon did. He used you. Just like he's used everyone else. You thought he'd expose himself as being a kiddy-diddler? Take the legal risk of being jailed, losing his whole Teflon schtick? Fuck no, that's for the LITTLE people. Like you!!! And maybe you can wrap your head around this little fact. All politicians have their issues, mainly because the guy you pick is opposed by everyone else who wants the pie all to their own. But Trump is worse than most!

Yes you did. We even told you in advance.

The problem is, you're a fucking moron.

Yes, you fucking did. I'm so sick of them trying to dodge blame after the fact. Oh, and if you stayed home...? You also voted for this.

as political campaign, conservatives were painfully open on what they were going to do.

no trump voter gets to say "I didn't vote for this"

In an April sit-down, former transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg schooled Schulz and his co-hosts for believing in Trump’s promises.

I wanna see this.

We're all getting what they deserve.

If any Trump voter was honest, they'd say "I didn't vote for this...to happen to me, my family, my friends." They damn well voted for it, with the expectation that it would only shit on "others".

I‘m sick of hearing people say this - It‘s exactly what they voted for. What I would prefer to hear them say is WHY they feel they made a mistake. What about Trumps rhetoric then is disconnected from his current deeds?

I suspect the usual reason is that it‘s impacted them personally and they didn‘t think it would. It‘s the reverse of the boy who cried wolf

You voted for all of it, you dumb fool. It was all written down in Project 2025. We tried to warn you.

There is no font size large enough, no billboard big enough, to post the phrase:

WE TOLD YOU SO

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 hours ago

Shultz is a rich kid too so I kinda doubt that's gonna be an issue for him.

Funny how the deciding factor for Trump supporters is not knowing anything about what he would do once in office.

Like, for fucking real, nothing they've done has surprised progressives. We all knew this would happen.

"I'm incredibly selfish and stupid, and because of that, I didn't realize what I was voting for." FTFY

[–] [email protected] 23 points 9 hours ago

We already had him in office for four years and it was a disaster. So what do these stupid fuckers do? VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN. I get the cultists who worship him doing that, they're thoroughly brainwashed, but there is NO excuse for anyone else to be surprised by this shit.
