On January 19th, TIME magazine published an astonishing article, amply confirming what dissident, anti-war academics, activists, journalists, and researchers have long argued. The US always intended to abandon Ukraine after setting up the country for a proxy war with Russia, and never had any desire or intention to assist Kiev in defeating Moscow in the conflict, let alone achieving its maximalist aims of regaining Crimea and restoring the country’s 1991 borders. To have a major mainstream outlet finally corroborate this indubitable reality is a seismic development.

Could be completely anecdotal, but browsing the Wikipedia day-by-day timeline of the war I've noticed an increase of "SBU arrested Ukrainians was arrested for treason/corruption" events, which seems like a really dire indicator.

I wonder if Zelensky will get thrown under the bus or if he'll manage to find a scapegoat who "stole trillions" who will conveniently die or disappear and be unable to defend himself.

The pro-genocide Euromaidan faction need to explain several issues that this news article highlighted. Is it true that the US created a fakenews called Radio Free Europe? This will imply that the British diaspora looked down on their European counterpart and expected that Europeans need freedom from British diaspora like their claim about the former European colonies. If the October 2023 - June 2024 Krynky operation was an imitation of the d-day against Nazi German, then it implied that the local citizens supported Russia over Britain. Regardless of whether Zelensky could leave Ukraine to talk with countries of Western European diaspora, the logic that a leader cannot leave his country during times of war calls caused problems if Zelensky had already attended prior meetings in another country.

So the european vassals are now left to handle the shitshow, while the US is gearing for its next wars to create even greater shitshows.

I'm sure Finland and Sweden are really glad they joined NATO now, seeing as though their friend across the pond proves willing to abandon them at a moment's notice.
