Then they start trying to convert me to a lame christian lifestyle again in my adulthood.

My parents gave that up decades ago when every single time they brought up religion, I would tire them out with questions they could never answer. I think they realized that they were accomplishing nothing, and maybe even hurting their own faith in the process lol
