And now thankfully Trump has stopped the genocide, oh wait he accelerated it.

With Kamala there was a chance things would have changed. The dems were at least applying pressure to Israel to find a resolution. I have plenty of criticisms and am pissed we spent tax dollars arming Israel.

However, now our government is enthusiastically supporting the elimination of Gaza. So yeah that didn't pan out

My point was maybe Democrats could have differentiated themselves a bit better by NOT BACKING A GENOCIDE like the Republicans were very willing to do.

People stayed home because the choice between some genocide and genocide isn't a compelling one. But democratic leadership is bought and paid for by AIPAC

Maybe Americans had a responsibility to prevent fascists who were very open about their fascism from taking total control of our government and accelerating the genocide in Gaza.

Nah, let's place all the blame on Democrats instead of Americans. It's easier.

Maybe Democrats have a responsibility not be actively helping this fascist takeover happen? Surely someone seeking votes shouldn't be irresponsible enough to completely ignore what their potential constituents want and only listen to their corporate donors, right?

But let's blame the victims instead of the ruling class, that's easier.

Who wanted a ceasefire? Harris.

Who wants to nuke Gaza. Republicans.

You: They're both the same, I'm gonna stand in the corner and not stop the nuking of Gaza.

So did Biden. But saying you want something and actively avoiding doing anything to facilitate that is not an inspiring thing to really behind.

Nowhere did I say they were the same. Holy shit, none of you can fucking read. I'm saying the appearance of really bad and still bad contributes to voter apathy.

Sure, Israel was also a long time ally who suffered a brutal terrorist attack in October. Maybe geopolitics is more complex than "Biden is commiting a genocide!!1!".

Before you get too out to touch, I'll say that any aid to Israel should have been conditional, and we should have stationed Americans relief workers in refugee camps and safe zones to stop Israel from indiscriminately bombing them.

They made up half the shit about that terrorist attack. To justify their ongoing genocide.

No one fucking said Biden did it. He was enabling. It's studying how badly your reading comprehension has served you across two very different topics this week.

And I'm the end you giving agreed with me while still trying to act like I'm wrong about anything.

Not that Israel has shied away from murdering any foreign nationals in the area, either. Way more miles journalists than the entire Russian invasion, in half the time. It's clear they're actively targeting them and aid workers at this point.

Yes. I don't have to knee-jerk disagree with people, and I can agree with some parts of an argument, but not others. It's called nuance.

Can you source that? From what I recall, they (Hamas) had armed militants attack civilians venues, killing non-combatants and taking civilians as prisoners.
