here are the rules
Looks like below 250g is fine, above 500g is "not within 50m of people this includes up to max height ceiling" ie anything above that size isn't allowed anywhere near towns/cities. Can't really find anything suggesting tracking though.
every drone operator of drones under 250g with a camera or any over 250g needs to be registered with an operator id that needs to be displayed on the drone

of course being the uk, what is a toy is loosely defined and fuck knows what the enforcement of these rules are like lol
