Let's say that hypothetically someone flew an fpv drone right up to your bedroom door, which is accessible from outside the building, during the middle of the night at 11pm.

Not to be "that guy", but are you 100% certain that's what it was? Did you get a close look at it, like 20 feet away or less?

I would get some 20 lb monofilament fishing line and hang it randomly near the windows.
