The post-Reagan GOP has only ever been about more government, more police, more fascism. She's fallen for the classic blunder of assuming that fascists ever argue in good faith. They don't give a shit that they talk about being the party of small government and yet can't wait to use techno-feudalism to make sure that gay people aren't secretly having sex. They're not arguing for small government in good faith and never have done.
This is the bastard child of capitalists and fascists. They both need each other and both think they are in charge of the other.
The real truth time and time again for 10k years is labor has the power.
I think that crap resonates with people because they think smaller government = lower taxes. If there’s one thing conservatives love to obsess about more than other people’s genitals it’s money. Even if they’re poor and pay a negative tax rate.
