Everything must be in SI units.
I watched a NASA video the other day where it was describing a rocket and kept mentioning ft.lbs of thrust, miles per hour, donkies per football field and other funny, non-real words. How the US manage to sell and integrate US weapons systems is beyond me.
Oh our military and government use SI. It's just that in the 70s when we switched our citizenry refused to metricate even a little with the singular exception that we all know how big 2L is. Not a liter, only 2 of them.
How long does it take with 422 footpounds of trust on a 17 stone object travelling half a mile?
AFAIK anything military uses SI units even American soldiers can't pronounce them properly.
