Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

This didn't stop being a problem for me until I made a long term effort to only allow my keys to be in my hand, in the ignition of my car, or in my pocket. Not my coat or jacket pocket either. My pants pocket. I may not always have my jacket, but I always take my pants. Opening a door and leaving them in the lock is also not allowed. I used to do that and then leave them there all night long. No matter how inconvenient it may be at that moment, this rule is never to be broken.
Keys are in the hand, ignition, or pocket only!
I never let go of them unless they are going in the ignition or my pocket.
It was hard at first and I continued to lose them for a while. But I kept at it and because I did this the pattern is now habit and my keys haven't been lost in years.
I’m still working on this, except I have a hook by my bedroom door for when I’m done doing stuff for the day. I also put a long red lanyard on them to help me find them.
That’s always been my way as well. It’s only natural as far as I’m concerned.
I own nice stuff. All that stuff is secured with keys. And that only works if I have them and maintain positive control over them. So it stands to reason that one should be very careful about where you put and use them.
They live in three exact places: a bowl at my house, in my hand or in my right front pocket.
I’m also a firm believer of ‘a door should be locked unless you are within arms reach of it’. You’d be amazed how bad some people are at locking their doors…
Same, except I have my keys on a carabiner and they're either hanging on my bed, on my belt loop, or in my ignition.
What about when you're in bed? Do you leave them in your previously worn pants and grab them in the morning, or do you put them in your clean pants the night before?
Do... do you hold them in your hands while sleeping? /s
Yep. Leave them in the pants pocket until I transfer them to a fresh pair.
Sleeping me is not to be trusted with such things. 😴
Same here.
This what I have done since I was a kid
Hah, this is basically my operating rules as well. I get unreasonably paranoid about dropping them down stormdrains too, so I clutch those babies like a Karen's pearls until they're back in pocket!
