For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

It's pretty cool how Lonnie can defy a court judgement using his multiple companies as leverage and not be arrested or face any repercussions whatsoever. /s

A while ago, I gave a one star review for Berlin's Tesla Giga Factory, without a comment.

Some of my unmentioned reasons:

Tesla's first European factory needs more water to expand. Drought stands in its way

About 500,000 trees cut down at site of Tesla gigafactory near Berlin

Elon Musk and his conspiracy-laden leap to the extreme-right

My review was removed yesterday.

Elon Musk is publicly offering his own interpretation of Jesus' teachings with an Old Testament twist.

Mike Masnick @mmasnick.bsky[…]
"You have got to be kidding me..."

Anil Dash @anildash.com
"I heard there's an institution that doesn't have to pay any taxes and repeatedly systematically abuses children, and I decided I wanted to talk to the growth hacker who founded it."

Could this all be a setup to offload his huge failure onto the Trump cult? I don't think it's a 4D chess thing. It does seem on brand though.

The “live conversation” will be “unscripted with no limits on subject matter,” Musk wrote Sunday, adding it “should be highly entertaining.” He encouraged users to post specific questions and comments under the stream’s chat.

The Trump campaign said it will be “the interview of the century.”

What would you all say the odds were of at least one of those two saying the N-word by the end of the night?
