The only possible non-gecko engine alternative to Firefox that isn't even viable yet is Ladybird and I haven't done a deep dive on its governance at all.
It's Firefox for the foreseeable future

You hit the nail on the head. It's a fundamentally flawed game as a result of its original pay-to-win design that was merely band-aided over by converting it to a progression system.
The only way to assess it from a balance perspective is in a lobby where everyone has everything unlocked, and that's infeasible because of player retention being so bad.
I'm hoping Kyber (private servers) take the structural bones of the game (technical performance and aesthetic) and allow modding to fundamentally mechanically change the game to the same extent that modding has for skyrim because I don't believe a better base for community improvement will ever exist.
That game specifically has proved to me that people want more absurdist early 2000s PS2 era oddball type games from Sony Japan studios.
Let a million katamaris flourish
Copyleft licenses help without mitigating the full extent through other means.
Telling angry libertarian tech bros that you believe freedom for the Commons is more important than freedom for the individual is always fun though as they scream at you about your licenses for whatever application you've made that they want to parasitically extend without sharing code and selling to others as a service.
One of my favorite things.
One of the silliest things I'm semi-proud/ashamed of is my typing skills. Years of playing old early 90s MMOs where you had to actually type out spells led to this mostly useless talent.
Playing a game with active moderation where toxic players get quickly dealt with is euphoric.
Some of the thronebreaker puzzle levels are my all time favorite card game content. Fantastic game
Technofeudalism is when people who like dancing have a tendency to have beef with other people dancing.
I am very smart
Have you converted all Dreamcast and PSP roms to chd files? That should be decent storage savings. GC roms should also be rvzs to save more space.
Feel free to ask if you don't know how
These are mostly assumptions based on games previously releasing on Wii U/3DS and games that I feel are probably less intensive
Let me know how it goes based on these and I can try to recommend more later if its feasible
I played like 3 hours of Mario Kart 8D with the person next to me on a plane ride when I noticed them watching and it was the best flight I've ever had
Got it. This was the piece I was generically worried about having not looked into it beyond occasionally checking for project updates. Hopefully a fork arises over time.
