https://github.com/bol-van/zapret

M$ is like a boyfriend - you tell him "No, don't touch me there!"

and an hour later his hands are wandering the same direction again..

That's M$ intention, to hide some settings from users and lose control of Windows.

They want to create some hype and look cool by using AI chatbots. And most normies don't care about privacy and the dangers of AI in the future, they only care about "wow I can use AI for bla.. bla.."

But they have no idea, that one day AI could take over their jobs.. and rich people like Sam Altman are getting richer, and he only pays you with ~~UBI money~~ some pieces of computing

Also, AI companies aim for government contracts and medium / big corpos.

That's one of the reasons why we need to breaking up google. They use gapps and play store to control the android ecosystem.

As I stated in other reply

This is just some of BS public stunts, they are trying to hide and create misinformation to deceive people. The mastermind of the online gambling issue here, is one of their cronies. A businessman, this guy being protected by top military brass and former general including a new elected president.

My guess? This is just PR from their politicians to say "they are saving the country" or whatever bullshit without actually doing anything useful

I'm curious, can we have something like automation in LibreOffice? I mean like in VBA, where I can pull data and export excel charts.

It's been a month since I started journey with Linux Mint as my daily driver. I enjoy tinkering with things like PulseEffects (trying to create similar sound effects as in Windows). Also tried to customize Conky, but I think I need to learn Lua.

I also found out that my setup without a swap file / partition. I guess it because I use btrfs for the root partition, so the Mint installer replaced swap with some tmpfs folders. I only realized after I got stuck in OOM. 😂😂

Just like me, I also grew up with Windows XP and still playing Master of Orion on Linux today.

As a M$ Windows user for years, I can tell you there's little to no incentive in Linux development. That's why M$ Windows is so much better than Linux, they give incentives / rebates to hardware manufacturers if they can sell pre-installed Windows PCs/Laptops. So they are willing to build device drivers to support Windows.

I don't get it why you have to blame Samba devs? SMB protocol was built by M$. It's not easy to build something like Samba, at least they need to analyze how the SMB protocol works. If you want a better compatibility for sharing data with SMB you should use M$ Windows.
