Sure but I think it is less immediate. In music we have to make a decision if they are speaking about themselves nonfiction or fiction and in a book or movie we assume they are creating fictional character.

I think it's really interesting how people interpret music completely different than other forms of art. People sometimes assume the worst instead of realizing that the singer is speaking from another perspective. So for example if a writer has a first person perspective of a killer/rapist you wouldn't make an association that the author is anything of the sort. But if they wrote a song and sang it then people would question if they really felt that way. Polly is a great example. By many accounts (Kathleen Hanna , Kim Gordon) Cobain championed feminism and woman's rights but the lyrics of Polly are brutal and from the perpetrator view. Randy Newman's - Rednecks is a tough one to listen to. You can understand how it is trying to point out ignorance and racism like Blazing Saddles but it's sung in first person and should never be played in a public setting. Oingo Bongo's - Little Girs was always a bit creepy now seems to age poorly the more time has gone on. Minor Threat - Guilty of being white is a tough listen because you know racist people think this is a rallying cry instead of the emotionly reaction from a a teenage kid who was bullied in highschool for being white.

Wow. This is turning into one of those mythic games that was so so good but will never get a follow-up.

Pay attention. The game wouldn't always lead you to what you need to do. Some times you'll have to figure things out. There isn't just a marker on the map for what you need to do next. That messed me up because half the time I was following a marker but then there would be a line about giving someone an item or something in my inventory I missed. Ignore 100%ing every quest. Learn to parry and roll. Also, explore! I've run into very cool side quests! It feels really cool to just stumble into a story before a character even sends you out on the quest.

I was shocked when it was announced. A game made 9 years ago that no one was really asking for a remake of for full retail of $60? I think a lot of people see it for what it is a cash grab during Halloween season made by a 3rd party company.

Interesting read. Seems like their video game division was fucked over by the film division (covid) and no amount of leadership was going to correct that. To bad. they were really just getting some brand recognition as the cool artistic indie game company.

I've played all the Batman games. Not Gotham knights and I have never even heard of the suicide squad game. But I instantly ignore all online multiplayer games so I guess that could be the reason.

Usually ramp up the horror/spooky games about this time every year. Hades 2, Ghostwire Tokyo, Alan wake "American nightmare" dlc which is terrible so far. Resident Evil 2 remake.

Alien Isolation. This game really nails the original alien aesthetics. Not a perfect game but I'm happy it's a love letter to the original movie.

I'm going to say because it's short, stupid catchy. Sometimes your brain goes to random places and then logic sets in. Ignoring typical reason is what makes absurdist comedy work. We obviously have a character playing it straight trying to figure it out getting more and more upset by the illogical which makes the bit work. The music is silly and not eerie at all and then getting scared freeze frame when they continue to point out the character is not scary is the kicker and sort of makes it worth it. This was probably just a random skit they threw in last minute and thought, just have fun. A lot of hit songs are simple, obvious, stupid and catchy. Rick James thought Superfreak was a throw away song too dumb to be on the album and it's his most recognized song.

Is there information on lenses for phone cameras? Seems impossible to place a lens directly on top rather than hardwire it.

Headline. "Movie studio will keep making same movie/tv show until you stop paying for it." But yah this I agree this is usually the point that studios are able to franchise or will drop it.
