Yep, but there will still be constant FUD towards the DNC while republicans move forward on project 2025.

Don’t mistake FUD for criticism. The difference is timing.

Propaganda is at its peak right before an election. At that point in the election cycle it is too late to change most things. “Criticism” only serves to discourage people from voting in order to tip the scales.

No one is saying that the difference in voters in 2020 (largest turnout ever) and 2024 is entirely because of leftists.

Ya, I believe that most of them are foreign bots. Others are just repeating their talking points. Some are more obvious. Others claim they were going to vote for Biden/Kamala while still spreading FUD.

So you’re basically telling me to not believe my own eyes and that the leftist spreading FUD about Biden/Kamala leading up to the election and afterwards don’t exists.

It is based of the posts and comments here on lemmy from leftists claiming Harris lost because ‘the DNC wasn’t left enough’. Also all the leftists here on lemme leading up to the elections claiming that both sides are the same and that we should vote 3rd party.

Regulatory capture and citizens united both exist to undo those checks and balances. No system is immune to corruption.

It’s a politicians job to cater to the people who actually vote. Moderates vote so democrats cater to them.

Republicans took voters from democrats by running ads that blamed “radical leftists democrats and their progressive policies” for inflation and every other problem under the sun.

Along with the leftists that didn’t vote this was enough to give the win to facists.

This is how US politics ratchets to the right.

Because leftists don’t vote for politicians that must cater to more than just leftists to win.

In a democracy it is the voters who decide. If leftists want to stay home because Kamala isn’t far enough left then we all get fascism.

According to the polls it was the economy that motivated voters the most and dems lost voters because of high inflation during Bidens term causing voters to think it was Bidens policies causing inflation.

Republican ads specifically blamed Bidens ‘progressive radically leftist’ policies.

This is what happens when the left doesn’t show up to vote because of there aren’t any candidates far enough left in their opinion. The people that actually vote will be further right on the ideological spectrum and the right most candidate gets elected.

Also if you didn’t vote for Harris

A) they are policies to the left of center. Saying they are random policies doesn’t even make sense.

B) something less progressive but still left of center. Meaning a move to the left.

C) the way time works, things have to happen before 2024 for them to exist in 2024. No one is saying “too far left”. That’s a straw man you are try to create.

Your opinion of how left Kamala was doesn’t matter.

It’s the voters opinions that matters. Republican propaganda convinced voters that Kamala is a radical leftists.

I agree that you should stop replying based on your feelings. Join reality instead.
