I want to help. Do you have any advice? This has convinced me I have a moral imperative but I don't even know where to start.

If you have the time, I strongly recommend Carrie Poppy's talk on this subject. You may find it enlightening.

Whether you do or not, I'm glad the book helped you! That's genuinely wonderful. It does, however, posit a lot of disproven theories that can be very harmful when taken seriously. The Satanic Panic is the best possible example of this.

That book should not be taken seriously. Very much pseudoscience.

I work in healthcare, you'd be surprised how many people start to drastically improve with good hospice care. It's more common than you'd expect

Idk, retusing to date someone based on their race does seem pretty racist to me. I know it's not the point of the post but like... It's murky moral territory.

You can't help who/what your attracted to, true. Even if it might be defined by subconscious prejudice, that might not necessarily be something you can change, totally. But having that conversation... It's gonna be hurtful, yeah? I think if you have that kinda preference the only easy way to accommodate it is by you advertising it in a general way.

Which only really works for dating apps, the absolute worst way to meet people.

Also, not a big deal, but it's best to put a space between 'trans' and 'men/'women'. It's an adjective. They are trans, they are men/women. 'Transmen' and 'transwomen' makes it seem like you're designating them seperately.

Or direct those players to a table of equally horny adventurers and everybody's happy 😎

Pull yourself up by your bootstraps, eh?

Ok boomer

Absolutely not. Women are people the same way men are. We ask stupid questions that we didn't think through purely out of curiosity, and then realize how rude it was on the drive home just like you do.

She may be, but if she is, that's a godawful opener. I have 0 rizz but something like 'I like your shoes' or w/e is never hard to pull.
