With asshole mods and asshole users running amok around instances unchecked while playing victim when the favor is returned to them. I find that the fediverse as a whole is just like any other socializing platform. No different, just a different coat of paint and a neat little mechanic in how it operates. But, still the same old shit.

How disappointing.

How Christian of him...

No, you do not get it.

71+ Million. Yes, 71+ million Americans, decided the country's fate last year. You are not going to skew this into a whole "blame the billionaires" spin.

Blaming the billionaires and rich yadda yadda even has its stretch. There are countless pieces of evidence that directly say that - yes - it is the people's fault. It is the American's fault. You wouldn't know that because it sounds like you don't live here and just know.

Trump did everything and I mean everything, to make him look and sound as unappealing as a candidate and retainer for presidency as possible. The guy is a fucking murderer of negligence to over 350,000k Americans during a pandemic. And STILL - Americans willingly picked him.

The sad thing is that it takes tragedies to unite a country.

When 9/11 happened, the country was united for once. Nothing mattered, two planes just destroyed 3,000 lives for everyone to see and feel. Granted, the aftermath of the matter could've totally been handled better in all angles. But for a while, it really felt great to feel united.

But it has been 24 years since and even that has worn off.

I expect plea deals, incompetence and tips. The FBI under Trump is insufficient.

This is applicable to Americans in the country and better answered if you actually live in it. The question stands - have you given up on America or do you really think there is a shred of a chance for a turnaround?

I think I have given up on America for it to do anything better for itself. I think the passing general election nailed the final nail in the coffin, that people who voted wrongly, wanted to worsen things in general to appease selfish personal agendas.

I think Americans in general really are set in stone about baking a cake and having it too with their interesting levels of double standards. They complain about big tech having your information, but turn around wanting you to sign a petition that asks for your information. They complain about commercials all year long, but will tune in by the millions for a Super Bowl. They complain about unfair wages, bad workplace environments and shitty bosses but didn't make so much of a fuss during the pandemic.

There's just too many things internally wrong with this country, that dampens what hope I ever had for it. Politicians and the "Real Owners" want to keep Americans dumb, complacent, tight and stressed to do anything. But if you give Americans a bit of leverage that could chip at those odds, they shit the fucking bed with their own incompetence.

So what gives, really? Live your life, do the best you can for yourself and those around you. Live another day but god damn fuck the majority of Americans and this country in general.

I find how they try to make you feel like a winner every visit there as laughably bad. Always hitting the right spaces on the spin the wheel? Always getting sales? Always this and that with Temu. Okay then...

I wouldn't ever buy anything big from Temu at any cost. They're great for stickers, enamel pins and just general, casual level items. If you're willing to wait however long it takes to get them to you, obviously from where they're sourced.

That's why I don't respect Democrats as fully. They think if they play by the rules and do all of these honorable political moves (whatever is left or what they are anymore anyways) that they'll gain public favor. However, it doesn't work as well as they think because all it does it wither down public trust and faith because the Republicans happily destroy things in a matter of days to even hours. Irreparable damage or damage that'll last for several administrations to fix.

All that Republicans will do is just kick Democrats to the curb and mock all honest and honorable gestures. They're a party of dishonor and decay. Democrats need to fight fire with fire, but they don't have the spine to do it, they'll just fall in line just as we've seen with Jan 6th this year, just as we've seen when Trump was making all of those demands at one point and Schumer followed suit. No spine. Nothing.

When will my Republican colleagues decide enough is enough?”

It's never enough. That's the thing. Long as they have power, they will not let it go and let things be as long as they retain it.

Probably Metron, from the New Gods in DC Comics. Just, being able to know everything and anything with a thirst of knowledge. I'd be able to solve all of the unsolved mysteries in seconds, I'd be able to foresee so much ahead to determine what the right choices to make are. I'd be a supreme advisor and uncontested in the wars of strategy. Plus I'd get all the abilities of a god too on top of it so add that.

The whole "we're a family" motto. I never understood why this is a thing and why it should be a thing. There is no job that I've ever been comfortable getting that attached to.

Dude, you've said the same exact thing 3 times.

Mine is coffee. As of today, my coffee drinking days are over. I've had been drinking coffee for what feels like 14 some odd years. I used to have, on average, 2 ~ 4 mugs and on some days where I just pushed myself, 6 mugs. I would always have my coffee coupled with powdered creamer because I can never drink coffee straight.

However and for the past 4 years now, I've been noticing some health issues with it both mentally and physically. Mentally, I've noticed my anxiety is driven up the wall after having had coffee. Physically, I could not stop going to the bathroom to piss, for coffee accelerates your need to go to the bathroom since it is also a laxative.

And also in turn, kept interrupting my naps and times where I had a nice string of hours to sleep to. A few weeks back, I had thought that it was maybe the usual caffeine-based coffee grounds that was causing it. So I discarded them. I went to Decaf because I felt I wasn't just ready to discard coffee entirely. But since the same stuff is happening again with even Decaf, even when trying to be more moderate about my intake, I've officially tapped out.

I'm going to miss it, all the times where when I was in a place of solitude and a nice warm mug of joe added to the feeling, helped make things feel right. And all the times when coffee actually did help me, but I guess I just over-indulged and spoiled badly what was.

All I want to do is play Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. That's all I want to play right now. But, leave it to Konami to not ever bundle it in any of the Castlevania bundles they've released so far. And leave it to Konami to exclusively lock it to a small bundle that is exclusive to a previous gen console such as the PS4 with NO plans of ever reaching PC.

So what are my options now? Emulate of course, so I opted to pirate a copy of Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP after I read that you can play Rondo of Blood. But leave it to Konami to not make it that simple, because you have to complete a certain task in a certain stage at a certain part just to simply UNLOCK the fucking version!

My other option is to emulate the PC-Engine and go through yet another obstacle course just to get one fucking game to run.

This is what brings my blood to a boil, is when there had been perfect opportunities and chances for game devs to do the obvious. If there is a high demand for a game that you know people would want to fucking play, you fucking bundle it and fucking release it.

You do not have a damn argument to stand by against piracy, game devs, when you have to make it such a pain in the ass for people to spend time and effort just to play a game YOU didn't want to simply release!

How do you fuck up this badly, Konami? Technically speaking, Rondo of Blood is a 16-bit game, so there was no excuses to have not included it in the initial Castlevania Anniversary Collection. But of course, just nostalgia bait everyone with all of the other games they could've emulated several times as easier than it is just to get the ONE game you didn't want to bundle.

So fuck you.
