When my friend was murdered(his dad attacked him, he fought back, and his dad shot him.) The cops knew his dad was a violent alcoholic, and that his son was trying to move out.
Except the dad was the only witness, and despite many people's statements about abuse and alcoholism in the household it was declared self defense due to "lack of evidence." He's free to walk around continuing to drink himself to death. Piece of shit.
My point is sometimes they don't even solve it correctly when the killer is standing right there.
The legal system is a fucking joke.
Perimenopause can happen in women a lot younger than most people think. I'm in my 30s and dealing with perimenopause symptoms such as hot flashes and irregular periods.
I'm supposed to be tracking my periods to help my Dr decide if that's what's going on, but because if this anti abortion garbage I have to do it manually on paper which I'm terrible about remembering to do(brain fog is another symptom)
So yeah, irregular periods are common for many reasons(endometriosis for example), but the most common one every ovulating woman eventually faces is perimenopause and menopause.

And I really agree on Trump winning the stupid vote. This wasn't so much an election of genders as it was an election of anti-intellectualism vs the educated. Only uneducated, willfully stupid people vote for a literal rapist.

My mom was one of those women who voted for Trump. And you know what? She's a moron. She literally doesn't pay any attention to politics and just votes for whoever my dad votes for. My dad votes for whoever is running republican. Ugh.
The thing is, my mom had a septic miscarriage between me and older sibling. She had a dnc to remove to the rotting fetus because she was going to die. One of the last conversations we had I tried to explain to her that she'd be dead today if the laws in red states were in place back then. She ignored me. Literally just stopped talking and ended the conversation.
My mom is so stupid she's a fucking hazard.
I'm estranged from my family, have been for years. But I'd like to guess a good chunk of the women who voted for trump are like my mom. Braindead. The other chunk actively like trump and are openly nazis. The brain dead ones are too stupid to notice they're wearing nazi uniforms.
But I guess that's an accurate description of people who voted for trump in general. Stupidity doesn't care what gender you are, it still makes you dumb as fuck.

People can get really defensive and hostile about fireworks and I've never really understood it.
I quit smoking at the beginning of this summer because it's a terrible habit that's inconsiderate to others at best(and bad for me too). So I quit. The thing is I actually liked smoking....Nicotine is something else(I used nicotine gum for anyone wondering)
So if I can accept that about smoking, why is it so hard for folks to understand that fireworks, while enjoyable, can have detrimental effects to other living creatures nearby? Some of whom might be people? It's just really strange to me.
