I also came here to post Uniqlo. I have a bunch of their basic tshirts in various colors and they're certified troopers.

I remember reading about WW2 German troops complaining that the Soviets were using dishonorable gangster tactics. Guess it's a fascist thing where you act tough and invincible but then moan it's unfair and cry for the hall monitor when you get their shit kicked in.

I need to take a 2.5 hour break from work tomorrow to get some chores sorted out, what is the most appropriate scientific term for this level of retirement?

I happen to be an expert on this topic. The best resource out there has to be Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game, a military simulation program commissioned by the US armed forces to be used in specops training. Several veteran MACV-SOG operators with thousands of hours of combat experience in Vietnam participated in its development as advisors, including Colonel Peter Jackson. As a result, the gorillas are highly detailed and realisitic, and it teaches genuine unconventional warfare tactics that had been successful on real battlefields.

This is like Operation Bagration when fascist forces were famously routed after the soviets painted their tanks black.

I've been thinking of getting myself one of those giga cool rainbow Soviet Union flags and hanging it in the entry hall of my apartment as a ward against cringe people.

Absolutely love Parkinson, his illustration that became the cover for the OG Forgotten Realms sourcebook is one of my all time favorites.

I've been using arch btw for more than 4 years now as my main OS and every time I boot into a Windows machine I take psychic damage. Linux ain't perfect but I'll take having to occasionally debug and fix something after an update over constantly fighting against my OS.

I encourage everyone to try Linux Mint in a virtual machine. Youtube is full of videos that show how to set it up, Mint is built to just work for most people's basic needs and provide a smooth transition from Windows and if you don't vibe with it you just delete the VM and move on with your life.

Putting acid tongued parrot that causes psychic damage with its sick burns on my list of tabletop encounter ideas.
