It looks like a board where they indeed probably put the components on by machine, however without solder paste, since it was going through the wave solder anyway. But you would need to glue the components down then.

That's why there is so much excessive solder. If it was printed with solder paste, it wouldn't have this much solder.

There's specific wave solder glue for smd components. Most likely all components were glued down. You can still see the off-white glue on the ICs in between the leads.

The parts that should not be soldered are usually masked off. Either with a mold or kapton tape/flexmask. Never Painters/scotch tape, since it will melt and/or burn.

Potentially it could be saved in the same folder as the rom.

And can you delete it while playing the game?

You can try to manually delete the save game. It's in the ./saves folder of retroarch. Don't delete the files in the ./states folder, as these are your save states.

If that didn't do it, you might need to change permissions for the folder.

It does not tick all boxes, but I think smart launcher might tick most boxes. I've used it for almost a decade now. Drawer is organized into categories automatically. Which makes my home screen a single page, and everything is easy to find. The search works great for apss not easily found

It changed too fast. Halfway through the sentence the clock was already wrong again.

There was just an update to Lemmy-Easy-Deploy, and it fixed it for me

Former Cowboys cheerleader Kat Puryear reveals her salary through 2022 was equivalent to that of “a substitute teacher” or a “Chick-fil-A worker that works full time.” Later on TikTok she added her job is a “full-time commitment, but part-time pay.”

As per the article.

Have you read the previous comments? Because that's exactly what's implied.

In case of emergency or downtime, I will try to give updates through mastodon. You can follow me @[email protected]

You can also message me there if you notice the site is down and I haven't posted an update yet.

The recent downtime has put it to my attention that users might want to get updates if the site is down. I completely understand, and agree. I don't intend to use this account much, so don't expect the usual microblog nonsense from this account.

Thanks!

It would be nice to see the domain the link takes you in the post feed (for compact, not sure if it's already in other views, but I'm sure other people using those would like it too if it's not there already) like in the lemmy web UI. I don't always want to go to certain pages, and this makes that easier to spot.

The actual play is over 6 hours, and surprisingly amusing to watch!

Link here if you have 6 hours of free time.

I'm sorry to say we had over a day of downtime starting yesterday. I'm not sure what happened, but it seems to have happened the day after the maintenance from the provider.

This is the story so far:
The day before yesterday (the 24th) the server was offline for a few hours due to maintenance on the provider side. It was announced beforehand, but the exact date of the maintenance was not, so I assumed it was the maintenance.

Yesterday (the 25th) the server went offline again. Since it was still within the announced maintenance window, I assumed it was also part of that. After a while the server still didn't come online, so I started worrying.

I called the provider yesterday, as it seems the server just disappeared. They put out a ticket to the service department, and all we could do was wait.

The server came back online today without warning, and a backup was restored. This means there is at least a little data lost from the last time it was online, but it's at least a very recent backup. In any case more recent than my own backup.

We hope the problems are now gone, and the server is as stable as it was before the maintenance.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.

We all play the same games most of the time. From the classic FPS grandfather's to the Point 'n Click adventures that never really got any traction past the 90s.

What are your favorite hidden gems? Games that few people know, but should know?

I'll start. Ascendency. A strategy space game where you pick an alien race, and try to take over, or befriend, the entire universe. Getting spaceships, going to planets, building bases and diplomacy. The time can be sped up, but do it at your own risk, because the AI does not wait.
