Nanowrimo is already in flames because of last years 'groomer mod' scandal. Why would they choose now to weigh in on such a controversial topic rather than working on filling all the staff vacancies, rebuilding trust in their community, and developing new volunteers to replace all the ones they fired and ghosted? All they've got to do here is keep their mouths shut and rebuild the damn organization and they can't even do that...

So similar stuff has happened throughout history with the coming of more advanced technology. There use to be entire rooms of secretaries in order to do clerical work that has been replaced by Microsoft Office Suite. Their replacement by technology did not cause a total collapse of society so I don't see why this would?

It might make the world worse and drive down the standard of living for many but a total upheaval? If humans made it through the industrial age we'll likely make it through the second technology age too. We won't be unscathed but mankind survived the invention of the computer which was probably equally (or maybe more) disruptive.

It's only in the past few years that "two or more" races became an option on most demographic forms. Even into the early 2000s most demographic forms only let you pick one category so you had to make a choice. The 2024 number may more accurately account for mixed race people but there is no way that 80s number does at all.

Source: was a confused mixed child asking adults which I should pick on official forms and just got shoulder shrugs and hand waving from them.

It's not the job of women to put themselves in potentially dangerous situations for the betterment of men. Women not wanting to be easily assaulted is "hurting men" is a disgusting take and says some truly awful things about you.

Didn't Sparta have a similar belief as far as honoring women who died in childbirth equally to men who died in battle?

They've been doing so unbelievably well...I can almost hear the other shoe whistling as it falls through the air. When the Dems fuck this one up it's gonna hurt.

I hope none of our officials in America are reading this because they're bound to think it's a great idea and implement it here. If the state wrongfully puts you in prison you shouldn't owe the state shit.

If you think the 19 year old having sex repeadly with a 13 year old is a "non rapist" then that says a lot about you and none of it good.

What point am I misunderstanding? You claimed double jeopardy applies. It does not. Not representing your country in the Olympics does not count as an official punishment for the same act.

That's not how double Double Jeopardy works (Netherlands also has a different name for it). It prevents you from being tried twice for a crime for which you've been acquitted/convicted. It does not prevent a country from refusing to have you represent them on the world stage.

I have had some involvement in very similar rifle shooting and there is obviously crossovers with pistol shooting. Honestly the fact that you consider those glasses a "gray area" of cheating made me snort laugh. No one in that sport would consider that even close to cheating. Full stop. I'm not trying to be rude but you clearly know nothing about this sport. Those glasses are ubiquitous in many types of competitive shooting at this level especially air pistol/rifle.

In fact if you think this is cheating you need to see what rifle shooters wear because those rules allow way more gear (including your "grey area" glasses).

Also you don't need something tied to your finger to feel your heart rate...You can clearly see your heart rate in your sights (yes, even irons). It could be a counter balance if it was measured perfectly but that's risky because if her stance changed at all it could pull her off. I'm honestly surprised her coaches let her risk having that thing at all. It looks like a liability to me.

Edit: I just went back and looked a d there's no way that things a counter weight. It would need to be close to the weight of that pistol to be helpful. Air pistols are light but they aren't "stuffy" light.
