MODERATORS
A lot of adult people confuse serious and solemn. You can have fuzzy eared bunny slippers and do serious things when required. But being solemn is boring.

It's all about whimsy, jackass. EMBRACE THE WHIMSY.
Most of us lose the playfulness as the responsibilities of adult life pile up. Between work, family and everything else, there's just no time. But that playfulness, doing something just for the fun of it, is armor. It helps ward off depression, relieves stress, it keeps our mental health up. We need hobbies, we need things in our life that are just fun and enjoyable, and we don't need to feel guilty about taking some time to relax and unwind.
The perk of growing up is, sometimes, being able to have the childish things you've always wanted.
The downside is that you rarely have time to play with them.
A tragedy, really.
I have all of those mini retro consoles and a very cheap projector onto an unprepped wall (mimics crt blur pretty well) and sometimes Ill play metal slug on a 3 meter screen for a few hours and teenage me thinks thats badass.

I have held this belief for many years:
The only criteria to define an adult is knowing when it is appropriate to be childish
Too many elections would have to be held if that was the criterion for being an adult.
