Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. - No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. - Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

... Is that an AI generated thing or an actual physical item?
I love the gag, but if someone actually made it I assume it has an actual use and the things that come to mind that would fit in that hole frighten me.
Mel Brooks had a gag in one of his movies where he was a rabbi who carried a pocket guillotine.
Looks like a straight cigar cutter to me
ah, that makes far more sense.
It's called an ITAR violation, and it's probably more than just EV parts.
The sad part is, that allowing Elon to export "Full Self Driving" or whatever other technology to China won't even help Tesla that much, and will even harm the company in the long term:
The Chinese will just copy/steal the technology, because all foreign investment is through joint ventures with local corporations, and give it to their domestic manufacturers, like they did and continue to do with all other offshored production that winds up in their hands.
As a recent spate of articles about GM, Honda and Nissan, tells us, the Chinese domestic manufacturers now own 60% market share.
Tesla's market share in China has dropped in nearly half over the last 3 months from 9/24 - 12/24, from 6.43% to 3.39%, and that was already down from 9% in 2023.
FSD isn't the leader in the market anyways and faces significant problems right now because they abandoned radar to focus on cameras.
So China likely already has that tech...
Bit off topic maybe but isn't Teslas self-driving setup the worst of all implementations? I'm no expert but i thought the cars only used cameras and other companies were closer to full autonomy (though none have achieved it)
FSD is less reliable compared to say Google's Waymo. GM's Cruise gave up on autonomous driving
China's dubious state media, says their autonomous robotaxis are quite safe, and they're rolling out fleets of them in major cities already
But I'm sure that bits and bobs in Tesla's FSD systems have some value to someone.
No, you don't understand. FSD can't be copied because it'll be entirely server side, and hosted in the USA!
Hope your ping times don't spike while making a left turn in a busy intersection.
Have never heard that and doubt it is true.
No doubt running on starlink.
Maybe we just dont have oligarchs in government, yeah?
You can't just D³ all the oligarchs.
(this is a challenge, I want you to but I can't just say that.)
If we got rid of all the oligarchs, we'd barely have anyone left.
You son of a bitch, I'm in
