Tempest? Or the original Star Wars game?
I have another theory, and please don't be offended if I'm wrong.
Maybe it wasn't a game at all.
Could it have been The Bishop of Battle from the movie Nightmares? You might have Mandela-effected this game from memories of that movie and similar games you had played.
you broke my brain
Then my work here is done.
Could it have been Zector?
A similar game by the same designers as Space Fury.
All I can think of is Strong Bad’s vector graphic head appearing and saying stuff like ‘your head a-splode’ in that voice you describe. :-)
That's crazy go nuts!
ChatGPT says Battle Maze or Battle Arena.
...so did OP, lol
For a moment, reading your post, I thought this was going to be a big moment for my username.
But alas. I'm a vector games fan, but your description isn't ringing to any bells for me.
yeah but no... this game was def 3d ... plus major havoc doesn't have a creepy talking head
Star Castle?
nope, it was circular for sure, but 3d... plus there was that talking head... no one seems to know what I'm talking about its messing with me like my memory is messed up
You sure it was vector?
I, Robot? Great game.
nope, like I said it was definitely vector, just a bunch of tight lines
Maybe Sinistar?
That's what I thought of first.
Sinistar wasn’t vector, though.
yeah wasn't Sinistar
