Yay to speaking up, but for now, let's just do the two things everybody can do that will not impact any aspect of our lives: remove it from our Steam wishlists right now, and not buy any Early Access version, at least until it has been made clear (credibly so) that no crunch will be expected from anyone at Unknown Worlds.

Fuck. I had such high hopes for Subnautica 2, but now that they put crunch-friendly executives in, I'm 1) much less hopeful that it'll be a work of art and 2) if it is, much less happy to support it if it's done with intentionally unhealthy work environments

Same. Fuck greedy publishers/IP holders. I want to see more Subnautica, but also want to ignore anything krafton touches.

Apropos the setting, I think the high seas is the way to accomplish both, but i fear that will just result in the studio going dark altogether.

Unknown Worlds has done good work, but will probably be yet another casualty of greedy leadership.

Damn, I used to play Natural Selection 24/7, Charlie & Max are legends to me. What a shitshow.
