The mod engine is supposed to be an eye-watering 700gb. Holy fuck. I'd considered trying my hand at some mods, but, uh... that might have to wait for me to pop another drive in my machine first.

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.
Other communities:
I will be hesitant until the modding gurus go over the exact implementation. I've been burned before about "A-life" in STALKER 2.
Modding support is huge though, as is mutant parts. This is the state it should have shipped in, but my guess from the start was that they really couldn't afford another delay.
I'm glad they shipped when they did, messy as it was. They really needed to just get something out the door, before it ended up permanently stuck in development hell.
Added the new feature: looting of mutant parts.
I look forward to ignoring the main storyline and roleplaying a wandering monster hunter instead. Hopefully the new mod support can flesh this out even further!
