You could get one of those drying rack things with all the hooks/clips, put them all on that, then spin it and grab one at random
What you need is a metal rod suspended by magnets. You can put all the chokers on it like hoops on a pole. Then you can just take from one end and put back at the other. Or sort through them I suppose.
maybe just a rope/chain, put them in that and then just make it little and to the drawer
idk if I explained myself
Sounds like you'd benefit from one of those large keyrings.
They open up at a single point, so in the morning you can see which one you want, move the entire circle of chokers around so that one is next to the opening, open it up, and grab the choker.
Also, no installation to the walls.
3d print a mannequin with a reeeaaallly long neck
Sadly no 3D printer in possession
What about a pet giraffe?
As I have sworn to upholed the constitution of the USA & NYS, I am unable to partake in illegal activities such as owning a giraffe.
Someone else has already commented about giraffe plushies though.
Can we see some of the collection please?
on me, ~~king~~ monarch π π₯Ί
I'm sorry, I don't use masculine gendering for myself.
π π₯Ίmonarch....
Much better subject. β¨
This would work, if I had more hanger room π
What about taking numbered pictures of them and categorizing them like in a library?
So you can browse the photos and find them based on what sleeve number you've assigned it to.
While this is smart, it only delays the issue to after I've selected.
I would still need to store them, but now numerically!
Get some cheap carabiners and use one for each style/color/whatever.
I'm not fully sure how this would work, can you elaborate?
The carabineers would function similar to a keychain, and you can use multiple carabineers to enforce organization.
I'm sick right now and I read this as I have 100 chickens how do I store them.
100 chickens, how do I choke them all?
Hopefully you feel better soon!
Personally the best way to store 100 chickens is to let them be free in a field!
I thought it said chonkers and I thought they were asking some theoretical intellectual question about 100 obese cats
That is also how I originally read it.
My initial thoughts were, how this one achieve this crazy expensive feat.
Feeding 100 cats until they are all obese, along with housing and vet bills...
Drawers with dividers. Like people use for jewelry. People also use them for things like watches, pens, knives, etc, anything collectible and around the same size. So there are differently-shaped options. They come in every material you might want - plastic, coated cardboard, wood, steel. The main advantage of using a box or sealing drawers is that they won't get dusty over time.
Here's one made of acrylic that could hold most of them, assuming they are very flexible: https://www.amazon.com/Watpot-Acrylic-Jewelry-Drawers-Organizer/dp/B09WMCPJT3/
If they aren't very flexible then look for something like a bangle organizer: https://www.amazon.com/Glenor-Co-Bracelet-Jewelry-Removable/dp/B07Q32R79N
The prices of these hurt π
The bangle organizers are basically just faux velvet over a dowel if you want to DIY!
Paper chains around the room!
As in the chokers making the chain? Or paper chains holding the chokers?
Maybe something like this?
Ooo, This is super effective! I'll see the costs and more.
If you're a sewer, you can probably convert some fabric and a cloths hanger into something similar.
If they can be attached to each other end to end you can spool them around a stick loosely and remove from one end and add to the other, like a 100 element FIFO buffer.
I like this thinking, but it falls into the trap that I then would have a very tricky time getting an element in the middle of the buffer.
Step One: acquire one-hundred human necks using hatchet and/or hacksaw
