What about the killers coming over the border? She was the border czar, but she doesn't want to be called that because she's embarrassed about it. When are they going to be prosecuted? They're coming from all over the world, not South America and crime is down all over the world. When are they going to be prosecuted? What about the people who burned down Minneapolis? What about the people who took over a large amount of Seattle!"

Trump: "I just showed up to make a speech and I went to Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of D.C. and I said- it wasn't a riot by me- and I said I'd like to give you the national guard and they both rejected me and her daughter has a tape saying she was responsible for what happened. Nice. He just can't accept any level of responsibility for anything ever. To a sane person, this is a terrible response.

The main problem with the debate is that the audience that is listening has to actually also be SANE.
If you have nutjobs listening to all this ... they'll love Trump no matter how reasonable Harris may sound.
The trouble has been, is and will always be ... the general intelligence of the US population.
Remember, Trump needs more than the MAGA faithful to win. Only a small number of people need to be swung by this and I can't believe this will turn anyone against Harris.

When this is over, I wanna see a stat on who spoke/was on camera more. The press plays right into his hands. Asking him to clarify only gets him more speaking time. That's why he "wins" debates, because he monopolizes media time. She is doing a great job attacking him, but he gets the last word.
The "virtual coin flip" conveniently gives him the final word at the debate, too. He will be the last one who speaks and he'll be allowed to monopolize the time spewing hot air.
Considering how insanely he's been rambling, I don't know that giving him the last word will help him.
