I did night shift security for over a decade. I'm genuinely surprised the guard was fired for this. Every guard does shit like this. I used to bring a PlayStation and full size TV to work, plug it and a box fan into an inverter (or long ass extensions cord) in my car, and play video games all night. Also used to bring a hot plate and cook full meals at work.

But for real, if you ever need a very low effort night shift job, try out security. 90% of the time you're there so the client gets an insurance discount. Excellent for getting paid to do nothing, catch up on reading, or doing online school or something.
