Internet as an art

Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.

I will introduce more rules later and when I finish doing that I will make an announcement post about that.

For overall temporary guide check out the rules here: https://www.reddit.com/r/hmmm/wiki/rules/

I won't be moving all of them here but I will keep most of them.

Everything is a cell tower if you're brave enough...or something.

HAVE YOU SEEN SHAUN?!

I'm looking for my son. They took him. One of them said the name "Kellogg"...

Cell towers disguised as trees/cacti are sort of an arboreal take on the Terminator franchise.

My name is John Conifer

I think disguising cell towers as something more natural is nice. Having nature or even nature imaginery around us doed good to people.

Many years ago there was a news article and uproar about one of these being disguised as a tree - which towered above the surrounding trees. I think the rest of the trees have probably grown by now to stop it looking so out of place.

There was a giant tree next to my old workplace. Took me two years to notice it wasn't a real tree. It was a cell tower.

I am shocked it took you that long to notice, they are not very convincing if you look at them for more than a glance.

Still better than a bare tower most times, however in my region they did a fake tree that does not grow in the area for one cell tower and it looks really bad, wish they just had a bare tower there.

I never really paid much attention to it. I just knew it was there in my peripheral vision.

The year is 2030. Cell tower camouflage is so realistic, literally anything could be a cell tower. The uncertainty has gripped the world in fear. I go to hug my wife for comfort. She is a cell tower.

No wonder the reception at your wedding was so good.

Am I the only one who thinks cell towers aren’t ugly?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

"Functional" of "utilitarian" is how I'd describe them

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

I don't mind them. They're not ugly, nor pretty, but damn useful.

I’m sure you’re not the only one.
