How does is comparison to Apple Beef Pro Max?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago) (1 children)

Mostly the same but a little more jank. Like half the price and you're not locked to the official recipe store though. But you already use Apple condiments, sauces or grills they lose some funcionality.

They always get ya with the damn sauces.

The article glosses over the real reason for this, which is that Argentina is on an inflation rocket ride due to the new libertarian leadership. Getting paid in currency that is being continually devalued on a daily basis is worse than just getting the beef. China is the world’s largest market for beef.

Geez. You mean the current libertarian leadership traveled in time and made deals with Huawei before getting into power and also created ridiculously high inflation many years before getting to power? Dude, I live here and what you are saying is completely wrong. You are terribly misinformed and I'm not saying this because I support the current government, but because you can't blame anyone for things done before they were in power.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 5 months ago

Not OC, but wasn't Argentina on a fun ride of inflation before the current government anyways? The core idea is sound still if that's the case, though slightly misplacing the blame

Libertarian for the win, eh?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 months ago

This is absolutely mostly from the past government. These kinds of agreements take years to settle and the new government only has 6 months in functions

Here you have a high level overview of current administration and pat one engagements with China

This is so much less cool than the Pepsi navy

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago

In fairness, the first iteration of that deal was Pepsi for Stolichnaya.

It’s like Coke’s navy, but a little sweeter.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 months ago

Isn't the coke Navy essentially the United States Coast Guard?

I can have a Huawei steak as a little treat
