Not uplifting. Dyson is a piece of shit.

Fuck Dyson. He promoted Brexit and then moved his HQ out of the UK when it was clear Brexit was a huge mistake, then got all pissy when people pointed out he was a huge hypocrite.

Great idea. I wonder why they chose strawberries. Surely most vegetables are more popular and easier to grow.

High profit, easy grow and pollination. I wonder how they automate harvest though.

Relatively easy to do with strawberries. Look up pictures of greenhouse cultivation of strawberries. You'll see that the fruit all hang over the edge of the beds/trays.

All you need is a robotic pickers with a color sensor on it.

We love strawberries in the UK. Definitely a good option. Pretty sure there are other crops grown using vertical farming by other companies as well.

Sure, automation without basic income implementation policies may lead to cataclysmic wealth imbalances, but those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw strawberries.

Don't worry, the anarchists and anti-whatever folk will bring bricks with them to throw.

There is already a shortage of people to pick fruit iirc. Its back breaking work and exactly the right thing to be automating. Be a plumber or spark, thats for sure what id be training as if i had my time again.

But but, it trickles down... Right? 🥹

Step 1: Feed the rich with fancy vertically farmed strawberries till they're fat and juicy

Step 2: eat the rich.

It's a simple plan. It's a good plan.
