Once again mashing Total War with a franchise that has war in the title and utterly refusing to do the obvious.

Total… Star Wars? Star total wars?
Empire at War is a viable alternative while you wait for this.
I wish Empire of War had quicker AI turns. It’s my favorite one but you spend so much time waiting for AI turns to complete.
So many great mods for it and now is 64 bit
And then there's Sins of a galactic empire mod for sins of a solar empire
I'd play it
Oh man, a Total War: Lord of the Rings could be pretty badass.
So BFME2?
There's a fantastic LotR total conversion mod for TW: Rome. It was also ported to RW: Rome Remastered, so very easy to play even on modern hardware.
EDIT: Search for Lord of the Rings: Total War (Remastered) for the most recent version of the mod.
Also Divide and Conquer for TW: Medieval 2 is goddamned amazing
I'd be willing to bet that they are doing this to prepare for an eventual Total War : Warhammer 40K.
Hopefully it'll be an improvement on Force Commander
Been a while since I've seen that name. One of a long line of very meh Star Wars games.
Rancors are the new elephants
Gotta release a bunch of burning ewoks to scare em and start a stampede...
This sounds awesome. I enjoyed TW:WH quite a bit; their model works very well for non-historically-accurate settings, and I'd love to see them do more of these.
I don't know if they could do a non single world map. Or trust them anymore to make a good game(or bug free)
